Domain Name Transfer

A domain transfer is, in effect, to transfer domain name from one registrar to another registrar. As a registrar is only responsible for the management of your domain records, this transfer should in no way affect your website, relevant email or DNS.

Switching your registrar to R-Tech for all of your domain names means consolidated administration and billing under one account. Once R-Tech is your registrar, you can use the Control Panel to update information, view the status of your account, and register additional names effortlessly. It is easy to transfer domain names to R-Tech.

Transfer Rules
  1. Regulations prohibit transferring domains that are less than 60 days old. Please wait at least 60 days before transferring.
  2. Regulations also prohibit transferring domains that will expire within 7 days. Please transfer your domains early to avoid this problem.
  3. EPP authentication code will be required for all .com, .net, .org, .biz, .ca, .co, info, .me, .mobi, .tv and .us domains. Contact your current registrar to get an EPP code.
  4. Please make sure the domain is not locked at the current registrar. Many registrars place locks without your knowledge.
  5. For all .uk domain transfers, update your IPS tag to ENOM before submitting the transfer.
  6. If your domain expired with your old registrar and you renewed it with them, please do not transfer it within 45 days of the previous expiry date since it will not add 1 more year to your domain name and you will lose out on the renewal fees paid to the older registrar.

Please note:
Minimum Registration: Each domain has a minimum registration period of 1 year and will be charged for this period in advance.

Promotional offer:   Offers valid for a limited time only. Setup fee, minimum contract term, and other terms and conditions may apply..
